Global Inspirations It all began with some pastry cutters and two dollars cash. Ben Abbott and his wife Doris found themselves at the 1949 Canadian National Exhibition demonstrating the kitchen gadgets to the crowd, who were mesmerized by Ben's true enthusiasm for his product. The 3,000 cutters had cleared customs just the night before, and were all sold within one day! Over the years, we have participated in hundreds of Gift Shows across North America. From humble beginnings selling a single item in  a 24 square foot booth, our space  has grown more than 230 times  larger today! Our continuous  efforts to improve our customer  experience were recognized in  August 2008 when we received the  prestigious Allen J. Browne award  for Best Overall Exhibitor at the  Toronto C.G.T.A. Show. From simple beginnings in the south-west part of downtown Toronto, our growth as a leader in the industry has been heralded by a variety of moves over the past 60 years. Today, our gorgeous head office features a stunning, well-kept showroom and a 130,000 square foot warehouse. Within the next 5 years, Abbott plans continued growth throughout North America and to continue to offer retailers inspiring products from across the globe.
